The story
A journey that begins in the silence of Oujda-Naima.
Far from the crowds, in the north-east of Morocco, lies the region of Oujda-Naima. Dry plains, clean air and a landscape that has never been cultivated. This is where the Jujubier grows, the Sidr tree, considered sacred for centuries. Its blossom is brief and scarce, and that is exactly where the rarity of this honey lies.
The bees do their work without interference. The beekeepers who harvest the combs do so as their ancestors did: by hand, at the right moment, without heating the honey and without adding anything. No factory, no blending, no haste.
Every harvest is then tested in a laboratory for purity and composition. Only when the result matches what we promise is the honey filled into the hexagonal jar and given its number.
Maison Jujubier has no face and no founder's story. The story is the honey itself: the journey of a blossom in the silence of Oujda-Naima to a numbered jar on your table.

Frequently asked questions
My honey has thickened or crystallised, is that normal?
Yes. Unheated honey can change texture. Place the jar in a bowl of warm water (no hotter than 40 degrees) and it will turn liquid again. Never heat it directly.
How long does the honey keep?
Almost indefinitely when sealed and stored dry. A best-before date is printed on the jar.
Is the honey suitable for children?
From the age of 1. Never give honey to babies under 12 months.
What does the number on my jar mean?
Every batch holds a fixed number of jars. Your number is unique within that batch and is also shown in your order confirmation.
